This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms of use (these “Terms”) which apply to the Obsessory Ltd service and PriceGrab and Obsessory platforms (the “Service”) provided to users (“you”, “your”, “Users”) by way of our website, pricegrab.io, and digital app, as well as www.obsessory.com. Please read these Terms carefully before you start to use the Service. By using our Service, you indicate that you accept these Terms and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
You’re not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way.
You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the app into other languages, or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Obsessory Ltd.
Obsessory Ltd is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.
We may update these Terms from time to time and the latest version will appear on our website with the date that they were updated. By using the Service after any changes have been posted, you agree to the new Terms.
Please also read our Privacy and Cookie Policy , which sets out how PriceGrab will collect, process and use your information. If you do not agree to any of these Terms or our Privacy and Cookie Policy, please do not use the Service.
Although PriceGrab is working to ensure that the Service is compatible across various devices, we cannot guarantee that the Service will work with all devices. If you have any questions or any problems checking your device compatibility or installing the web or mobile app, please contact us.
The PriceGrab app stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us, in order to provide our Service. It’s your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features and it could mean that the PriceGrab app won’t work properly or at all.
You should be aware that there are certain things that Obsessory Ltd will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the app will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi, or provided by your mobile network provider, but Obsessory Ltd cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don’t have any of your data allowance left.
If you’re using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that your terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app, or other third party charges. In using the app, you’re accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you’re using the app, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the app.
Obsessory will do its best to make sure that the Service is uninterrupted and error free, although we cannot guarantee this. Access to our Service is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Service without notice (see below). If we need to suspend or restrict access to the Service or particular content, we will do our best to minimise any disruption to you and the Service. We may change or remove Products available on the Service from time to time. We will not be liable if for any reason the Service is unavailable at any time or for any period.
We have the right to disable any username or password if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms.
You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to the Service. When accessing the Service over your mobile network, you will be using your data allowance. Obsessory is not responsible for any charges you may incur in using the Service. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our Service through your internet connection are aware of these Terms, and that they comply with them.
The legal rights (including the intellectual property rights) in the Service are owned by Obsessory. Any content on the Service and the compilation of this content is owned by us or licensed to us by third parties. All Products are owned, controlled or licensed by the Sellers. PriceGrab has no control over, or responsibility for, the content on those sites.
Along the same lines, Obsessory Ltd cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the app i.e. You need to make sure that your device stays charged – if it runs out of battery and you can’t turn it on to avail the Service, Obsessory Ltd cannot accept responsibility
With respect to Obsessory Ltd’s responsibility for your use of the app, when you’re using the app, it’s important to bear in mind that although we endeavour to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we do rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. Obsessory Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app.
BECAUSE Obsessory IS NEITHER THE BUYER NOR THE SELLER OF THE PRODUCTS, IF A DISPUTE ARISES CONCERNING A PRODUCT, BOTH YOU AND THE APPLICABLE SELLER RELEASE Obsessory (INCLUDING ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND GROUP COMPANIES) FROM CLAIMS, DEMANDS AND DAMAGES OF EVERY KIND AND NATURE ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH SUCH DISPUTES.
At some point, we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on Android– the requirements for both systems (and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the app to) may change, and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. Obsessory Ltd does not promise that it will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the Android version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you, We may also wish to stop providing the app, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the app, and (if needed) delete it from your device.
While PriceGrab strives to work with any store that sells products online, we cannot control the changes that a store site or app might make, and therefore cannot promise that PriceGrab would be always able to grab the product or inform you of the price changes in time. We accept no responsibility for late or incorrect notifications, or changes to the third party websites or apps.
Saving items in PriceGrab does not mean that the item is reserved for the user. All Products offered on the Service are subject to availability at the seller’s website or app.
Price changes are subject to currency exchange fluctuations.
All prices are subject to taxes, delivery charges and any other charges clearly stated on the sellers’ site or app. We use our reasonable efforts to ensure that the prices of Products displayed on the Service are correct. However, despite our reasonable efforts, it may be possible that some of the Products on the Service may be incorrectly priced.
Depending on the device you are using to access the Service and/or the particular Product you are purchasing, PriceGrab may re-direct you to the website of the Seller of that Product in order to complete the transaction. Once you are re-directed to a third party website and once you leave the Service, we have no control over or responsibility for any purchase you make and the terms and conditions of that website will apply.
You may use our Service for your own personal use and in accordance with these Terms and for lawful purposes. You may not use Obsessory or PriceGrab’s trade marks, logos or other intellectual property without our express prior written permission. You may not use the Service for any illegal purpose or in any way that:
You must not access without authority, modify, interfere, damage or disrupt the Service; any equipment or network used in the provision of the Service; any software used in the provision of the Service; or any equipment or network or software owned or used by a third party. You are responsible for compliance with local law and regulation when accessing the Service.
Obsessory will take any action it thinks is necessary to protect the Service and Obsessory’s Users. This may include Obsessory suspending, restricting or terminating your account and access to the Service. You understand that if you breach these Terms, then we may decide to remove your access to the Service.
Changes to This Terms and Conditions
We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
